What We Do
We have invested in our business over the last five years to improve our infrastructure and set us apart from the competition. From the latest fabrication technology to the plant needed to install gates to the level we do.
Our cantilever gates, whether industrial or residential, are our speciality and account for over 60% of our projects. We have manufactured and installed cantilever gates up to over 10 metres and weighing well more than 2 tons. We have made cantilever gates up to 4 metres high using our own, in-house developed bracing systems to make them as rigid as required.
The same bracing can be used to improve the rigidity and structural strength of any of our cantilever or sliding gates to make them more than strong enough for whatever life throws at them.
Our cantilever gates are as adaptable as they are safe and are as strong as they are secure.
Composite Cantilever Gate Designs
Custom Gates offers a plethora of different styles as well as helping our customers come up with their own unique designs ensuring each of our gates is customisable.
Our Composite Gates can be utilised for many styles whether that be modern, traditional or even a fusion of both!
We use a local composite supplier in Rotherham for all our composite boards. Each board style comes in seven standard colours. Three of the colours are a natural wood colour (walnut, teak and golden oak) giving any gate with these colours on a more organic look.
Less natural and more modern colours such as black, anthracite Gray, green and silver suit a more modern style.
The Gates styles include a sanded wood effect for a modern style and a 3D embossed wood grain for a tradition look, and finally a slatted composite that comes in either the sanded or embossed stye.
The Installation
Our installations are carried out completely in house. From the excavation and laying of the concrete for a cantilever gate to the wiring and electrics on an automated gate we do it all in house.
Our install team do this day in day out. They work on gates year-round ensuring everything goes as smoothly as possible and the gates go in right the first time.
Our electricians work exclusively on gate automation and access systems so they can overcome challenges and get the gates up and running.
Gate Safety
Gate safety systems are at the top of the agenda on any design. Ensuring risks are catered for and keeping any hazards to a minimum.
We use all the latest technology to do this as well as all the tried and tested systems such as photocells and safety edges.
A large part of our approach is the design of the gate itself. By designing out the hazards at the very beginning we can ensure crush areas are kept to a minimum and any potential risks are covered. Keeping the costs to a minimum whilst ensuring the gates are as safe as can be.
