What We Do

All gates are built around heavy-duty steel frames, ensuring long-term strength and rigidity, while the composite boards can provide either a modern or natural looking finish. Both materials are reliable long term as composite boards, opposed to wood, does not warp or rot and therefore if maintained it can look great as well as last the years.
Thanks to our in-house fabrication and bracing systems, our gates are engineered to withstand daily use, harsh weather, and heavy automation loads without compromising performance or appearance. The motors we use are dependent on the weight of the gate and therefore perform perfectly for the weight.
Our electric composite gates are as adaptable as they are secure, making them suitable for both residential and commercial applications.
Composite Electric Gate Designs
Custom Gates offers a wide variety of composite gate styles, as we work closely with customers to create bespoke designs, ensuring every gate is truly unique and suited to the customer.
Our composite gates are suitable for modern, traditional, or hybrid designs, making them incredibly versatile.
We use a local composite supplier in Rotherham for all our composite boards. Each board style is available in seven standard colours.
Natural wood-effect colours such as Walnut, Teak, and Golden Oak provide a warm and natural appearance.
For a more contemporary look, colours such as Black, Anthracite Grey, Green, and Silver are perfect for modern homes and commercial sites.
The Installation
Our installations are carried out completely in house. From the excavation and laying of the concrete for a cantilever gate to the wiring and electrics on an automated gate we do it all in house.
Our install team do this day in day out. They work on gates year-round ensuring everything goes as smoothly as possible and the gates go in right the first time.
Our electricians work exclusively on gate automation and access systems so they can overcome challenges and get the gates up and running.
Gate Safety
Gate safety systems are at the top of the agenda on any design. Ensuring risks are catered for and keeping any hazards to a minimum.
We use all the latest technology to do this as well as all the tried and tested systems such as photocells and safety edges.
A large part of our approach is the design of the gate itself. By designing out the hazards at the very beginning we can ensure crush areas are kept to a minimum and any potential risks are covered. Keeping the costs to a minimum whilst ensuring the gates are as safe as can be.
